Two KU Students Create Memo Service:A Revolutionary Tool for Kenyatta University.

In this new era of technological advancement, two students from Kenyatta University have come up with an amazing idea to ease classroom affairs such as important announcements which may include assignments and also dates when CAT's would be done.

According to a description I received from an interview with one of them, the system will work as follows:

**********************************************************************************

"Are you tired of missing classes just because you didn’t know if there was even a class or not? Are you tired of missing on assignments just because you were not in class when it was being given?

Well if you are, then here is your relief! The MEMO text service is the new patented software that liaises with all the Schools in Campus thus sending all the students who are registered to the service an update of all the class schedules and activities of the day.

You are even able to receive your assignments just as they are presented by your lectures! Cool right??? You can also be updated on the events happening on the campus grounds. And if you have an event, it can get adequate publicity through MEMO.

When you register for this service, we take your number and add it to our data base, so that reaching you can be easy. You will be sent a maximum of three texts a day for 3bob per text during the launch period.

After the Launch period and the MEMO service has proved its usefulness, a fixed, per-semester subscription charge will be set and students will be able to enjoy this fun and efficient service limitlessly.

Students will also be able to access their results and fee statements by submitting a request with their registration details after the launch period."

They are requesting any feedback from any interested parties as they prepare for the launch date that is set for this month. Personally, this is what I have been waiting for. Now I will not have to worry about missing out on important announcement if I were to, by chance, miss a lecture.

Congratulations on the new developments, Kenyatta University.
