Introducing the New Kenyan Peace Badge for Bloggers.
According to government news, Bloggers are being accused of
spreading tribal hate speech and being the strong gust of wind that strengthens
the fierce fires of discord among fellow Kenyans. Bloggers are being urged to overcome this
common practise and seek to promote peace.
In the digital and technological world, we Bloggers have a
duty and responsibility to encourage people. Knowledge is power, and people
empowered tend to break boundaries and discover new territories. We should therefore
be at the forefront empowering people in this country and even worldwide
positively.
So how are we going to do this? How are we going to show
solidarity as we march into the coming General elections?
Introducing the New Kenya Peace Badge for Bloggers. This
badge is a bold and outright stand against any violence in this country. It is
a Union of Bloggers, standing tall to declare peace in the country of our
forefathers. It is a country which is still young and requires to be protected
from any domestic or international harm. It serves as a digital footprint in
the sands of the vast World Wide Web that we were here; we stood for a greater
cause greater than ourselves and in God we trust that we will succeed in our
mission.
